Hail to the Chief

XanGo CEO Aaron Garrity is one of eight CEOs across the private, public, nonprofit and governmental business sectors of Utah to win the Utah Business Magazine CEO of the Year award. What’s more, above and beyond his top spot within the article, Aaron nabbed the cover shot of this feature issue—chosen for his unmistakable embodiment of all things a CEO should be.

The chief executive officer of any company holds a challenging and demanding position of pure leadership. Aaron is no exception, taking seriously his place as the leader to end all leaders. He coolly handles the unique demands of a market-modifying company growing at the speed of light, and he always shows remarkable responsibility for, and accountability to, all XanGo employees and distributors. Since he has been in the captain’s seat, he has navigated a bold and unequivocal course. And for that he has been pinpointed as an award-worthy chief who leads a record-breaking company.

The issue hit newsstands on Tuesday, March 4, effectively sending the message that XanGo is solid from superstructure to support, top to bottom and tip to tail. About the 2007 that XanGo enjoyed under Aaron Garrity, it reads:

“The company experienced phenomenal international growth, opening several new markets worldwide, welcoming 10,000 international distributors and earning more than $1 million in revenue within the first month of business in Malaysia. XanGo also hired 353 employees, introduced XanGo.TV and is expanding operations at its distribution facility in Spanish Fork. If XanGo had to be summed up in just one word, “growth” would be it, Garrity says.”
